i don't know theman, i don't remember exact numbers, i think i started with like 10-20 chocolates, energy drinks, waters, and 5 blunts. a little cash, and a few favors. you can guess how long that all lasts, even if you sold it all for cash.

facts are facts. 90% of my amenities, i bought from the warden or joe or adam, i bought 700 favors, and sold a bag of coal for 160, i paid favors just to get items to train, and i know i can't go much farther without spending even more. it's not necessarily a bad thing. if i go have good meal at a restaurant, i'm not going to ask if i can maybe pay later, or keep rating them up on yelp (ie vote) to earn my meal. but i don't think most people that play can or will do that. it's a delicate balance, but the "starter kit" you get as a new player is worthless, as is criming, digging, raiding, running, or anything else you can do pretty much until Putnam. And then here, there's nobody playing to buy items, so you just want to move on.

yup, like i said, i have no patience, and neither will most people that come here, and most of those people won't pay their way, where i am now would have taken me 6 months or more just from voting, and i'd still be in NJ or SQ. I don't play "real" games for 6 months, much less ones i have to log into or vote every day just to keep playing.

Noobs have it much better then we did when we started. We didnt have the stuff you guys have access to. This microwave society we live in now makes me sick. You cant have everything right now. Sometimes you have to build at it to see results. You think your avatar is gonna train itself when you dont log on? NO its not. S dont be disappointed that you dont see any results!!!

i'm not complaining really, just trying to put real life to what people keep talking about that have been playing 2-3 years, and really don't understand anymore. I'm in my 30's, I didn't grow up in the 'gimme now' generation, or 'microwave society' as you say. it is what it is, and i'm sorry it makes you sick, but that doesn't change the reality of it. of course my avatar isn't gonna train itself, every stat i've got, every item and every amenity i got, i either spent the time on, or basically bought, because there is no other way.

i see by the amount of time some of you have played that it's a game worth sticking around for, you've got a lot of time invested in it, and you care about it, but your dedication doesn't help new players, because when i started all i took was abuse, and i stuck around anyway. despite the abuse, despite only 1 person offering me a hand up while everyone else piled on, despite the prices, and despite having to spend the money, but i kind of get the impression that that's the exception rather than the rule. and that is what i'm trying to say.

There should be amens for levels under three that can only be used for lower levels and after they are used automatically expire?
