Meh, Im ready for an unrealistic shooter instead of the billionth bastard child of Halo and Medal of Honor. Though, I must give Halo credit, at least its about fking aliens! I swear, if I have to gun down another completely arbitrary foriegn power again, Im gunna light EA's corporate headquarters on fire...

Besides, the Battlefield franchise has sucked since Battlefield Vietnam.

The first Battlefield 1942 was released in 2002. Of course it is gunna have bad graphics. At the time, the graphics engine wasnt the most advanced, but it didnt need to be. The 1942 games were designed almost entirely for multiplayer. Those where the days that I actually played multiplayer, before all the hopeless nerd shut ins mastered the art of chucking grenades into peoples crotchs from the other side of the map...

Aint tried it online yet, probably be a few weeks, unless I let it suck me in early...

Fried it up for single player the once....seemed alright....can't recall much about it....work & weed got in the way...

Sniping in most games is way too easy.

Pick a spot, get as low as possible, stay still and wait.

You see a movement, aim, up scope, fire....oh, wait, too twitchy, he's your guy....try the guy chasing him *BAM* yeah that works.

I prefer CQB to snipers.

If it's a 1on1 sniper battle, that's another thing altogether, but CQB all the way..
