i used my 15 favors and didnt get a dvd....i got a box of parts....i thought i was paying for a "Random DVD"

it says a Random DVD on there.....nothing about a box of parts though

And it also says Box of Random Parts DVD.
It says that when you first purchase it. That is why the box of items ends up being an amenity. This isn't a bug, this is the intent of it.
