Mufasa,

If you have some players with "thousands" of favs then obviously that's a good thing for the support of this game. I don't think players want to continue having those many favos and beable to do nothing with them. I understand the logic of the way your doing business now and just think its a catch 22. New players helps the game grow but old players need to be happy to keep the wheels turning also. Personally I would like to have loyal players happy that have been around for 9+ months than having a bunch of new players that don't last 3...just saying 1 upper lvl is a bigger contributer to the overall qaulity of the game than 20 lower. Its a slippery slope when tinkering with the mechanics of gameplay and introducing this to those peolpe and that to these people, but good job and continue to put in the good hard work on this game.

P.s. the combination of all the changes and limited amount of new amens issued is a lot to take in for some of us...

Vic,

I hear what you're saying, but if it was all about a money grab, then we'd have EVERYTHING for sale for favors and have money grabs out the ass. Those DVDs were pretty damn valuable stat-wise, so naturally we don't want to flood the game with them. If we'd put them available for anyone with money, then they likely would have bought a shitload of them, hoarded them, and resold to them anyways...

You keep mentioning a new vs old player thing, how does that compute? The lower prisons got the same amount of DVDs as the higher prisons AND there's MORE people in the lower prisons -- so didn't they have less of an opportunity? How does this boil down to the older players getting the snub? I think there's more emotion than logic here. Logic, I can handle and respond to, emotion? Well... Not my business.

Mufasa,

I totally agree with you about the first paragraph you stated, I'm not that smart to figure out things like that, but it is possible to make it work somehow and I'm sure your doing what's best right now.

The new vs old is basically saying the time spent each week for the more experienced players compared to the treats available. Its like working and building a 401k, I got more time in and should have a better shot than the newer guys. If you take the hrs logged in for old players vs hrs logged in vs new players then you'll see that the reward for dedicated hrs decrease substantially. My 2000 hrs vs joe 40 hrs, he still has as much shot as I do to enjoy a new amen...

Don't get me wrong, I am in no way complaining! I bring up a different p.o.v. and just want to discuss. I don't neccesarily have the answers because I don't know the dynamics behind producing a game. I respect what you do whole heartedly, and only want to maximize the gaming experience for us all.

I think most people are just upset they didnt get 1 new ammen from the yard.

I like that some ammens arent released in high numbers to keep them rare whats the point if everyone has everything, maybe releasing a few new ammens that stay rare with a bunch of new common ammens will help everyone feel like they at least got something from the day?

Hence why Joe moves after a sale, but regardless, even if EVERYONE bought JUST one, then it's no longer rare.

I think people are upset because if you put in the time, you are supposed to reap the rewards. People put in a lot of time on a holiday, and don't have much to show for it. Eggs are nice, but c'mon, if you put in 6 hours you should have an amenity or two, ppl put in 12-16hours and have nothing but eggs.

Perhaps a fix is as easy as tweaking the formula for when amenities are given by the NPC in the yard, or another solution is to put them back in the wardens office.

Oh I got my piece, don't doubt it. Prisonblock is a creative outlet for the staff here, it's not made strictly for money
