I did look into it, and didn't see any problem nor how one can occur.

There are no recorded logs of any transaction happening, either for seller or buyer. No events that were visible, although not reliable, this was another check.

In the back-end when you do a purchase off the market, it does its various checks. Then takes it off the market, debits your money supply, then logs all the transactions. Then it saves your data, which is where money loss will be permanent.

A) Take off market

B) Credit Item

C) Debit Cash

D) Log Buyer Activity

E) Log Seller Activity

F) Save Altered User data

These all happen in sequence, and it can't jump steps. The code really can't Skip A and B, hit C, skip D and E and run F.

Additionally if the item was purchased for favors, there is additional logging when it debits and credits favors.

I'm not going to say that something couldn't have gone wrong in its processing, but it if went wrong it would die and not continue to run its course.

But I will refund the $3.00m, you say was lost.
