So i bought some dvds from the open market but then this appeared

Well this happens to me every 2-3 days then i get this

dvds are considered contraband and from time to time when you put them into your cell they will get confiscated by the warden and you will get sent into isolation as punishment.

Then why are they returned within 2 days? And i didnt pay for it to be returned

it comes back automatically in a period of 2-48hours i believe

The goal isn't to steal your stuff permanently. If we did that, then bootlegs would be useless.

The idea is that bootlegs are, on average, better than other amenities. But you run the risk of getting thrown into iso for using them.
