Was looking through old threads, thinking how it would be nice to be able to buy another code slot, but soon realized that with the 00000-99999 approach, it wouldn't really have an effect. So I think it would be cool to be able to purchase a different lock to increase it from 0-9 to 0-9+A-B or however much you want.

Locks would not be upgraded, since you can't just stick a new roller-thing in and have it work, so you would have to buy a brand new lock each time.

A favor cost would most likely be neccessary, and it could go on the cell upgrade page since it's kinda empty. And prisons could have different lock maxes, so if you have one with 12 characters, you'd have to use an older lock below the limit.

I'm thinking you could MAYBE have level 1s start out with 5 characters, and have the upgrades to 10 be:

6- 5 favors

7- 7 favors

8- 10 favors

9- 14 favors

10- 20 favors

+A- 30 favors

+A,B- 50 favors

etc...

Or even have the increase to 10 be in cash, then start charging favors.

hm interesting it would balance out the raiding a lot, making ppl less likely to wanna raid you! but i think bigger raiding parties would be formed perhaps, mostly against those higher levels sleepin on the job leaving their cell unattended while they do w/e

Not a bad idea. We've considered adding A-Z to the combos, but never considered upgrading the whole lock

personally i dont like the idea for simply the raid system is cool how it is, i dont really understand this ethier lol but carry on

he just making it an idea to make the cell combo bit harder to crack! by adding letters to the combo with the numbers via favs

i agree it would be there for helping when players get booted from there internet with out warning leaving there cell open to raid teams..
