if he programs the interface for it, i'm not sure that's true. but even if he wasn't on the hook for the money, he'd still have to deal with the bitching and crying if something went wrong.

I'm just playing devil's advocate, but the same way there are a couple "xxxxxx scammed me" threads daily, i could see 2 or 3 "mu scammed me" threads just as easy. look at how many "i didn't get my favors" posts there are, despite the hundreds of times he's said it's outside of his control. The simplest solution is don't support the people that buy/sell for cash, buy favors and support the game.

The free favors really dont have anything to do with the actual game. If you dont get them you lost time but not actual cash. If you send the warden an xbox for me I have to pay for it to get it. that cuts out scamming for amens. Also those of us who arent at your lvl and dont want to gain exp by training and dont want to crime its just better to buy eds/sws/ccs/cjs for paypal.

If people stopped selling/buying for real cash how else would you sell rare items. Sell them for 10's of millions of game cash. Only a few can hold game cash without getting mugged

you used to be able to buy bags of coal for 100k or new dvds for 50k, with enough time, the market would adjust

But how many people were there when you started 10 mths ago. Ive seen it climb greatly in the last couple of mths Ive actually started really getting into the game.

i'm not sure how many people were playing then, but i've seen two things lead to a huge increase in prices and the inability to buy rare amenities for game items. 1 was the increased price of favors, which sucked, but was understandable for any number of reasons, 2, and the biggest factor, was when people started selling amenities, and even worse, items, for cash.

PB wasn't designed for player to player paypal transactions, so theres always a risk there. I've done it myself but you have to be wary about who your doing business with. If there was a "cash market" then I think a much higher percentage of ammenities would all be on the cash market, instead of the regular market or auction for items in the marketplace thread. I think the game would *eventually*become more like ebay then a prison game, but just my 2 cents

I buy and sell stuff almost daily through paypal (2x today alone). I was scammed once because I sent items first without getting my paypal cash. Dont do that anymore. But the forum market is here for buying/selling/trading of items and amens there should just be some sort of protection from scammers.

Do you think that would be a wrong thing to be able to secure your cash? To know that you're getting what you negotiated or is listed in a cash market.
