I've had a long hard year/ but the end of it is near

lost my car, lost my keys/ paid a lot of fines and fees

My girl told me no/ even when i begged her please

she left me for a homie/ now that hardly even knows me

I wish that I had known/ that i was better off alone

Before I rode the coasters down hill/ The ones that kill

and it wasn't until jail/ God refused to let me fail

Strings pulled, tears dropped/ but i rised, never flopped

and it's such a hard fall/ when im losing it all

But it felt deserved/ because of so many I've served

I trid to be less greedy/ and tried to be less needy

but it never was enough/ this was nothing i could buff

So it hit me really hard/ caught me off my guard

almost got me three years/ and almost shed a lot of tears

But again I broke free/ because someone looks over me

and I know that they know/ that it's not about the show

but about my character/ and who I chose to be

surpasses all my faults/ and sees integrity
