Happy Halloween 2013!

We're kicking off our Halloween event for this year. We started it a bit early, and it will be progressing over the next few weeks, up until its culmination shortly after Haloween, October 31st.

So what's this all about? Long story short: Vampires vs Werewolves! You get to choose which side you're on. You can fight alongside your friends, or against them. The choice is yours. But you must choose a side, and after the first stage of the event, you won't be able to change sides.

What are you waiting for?! Get out in your prison's yard, find that Haunted Outhouse, and see what's inside! (You stink anyway, so who cares about the smell)

The gates are open, and it's time for vampires and werewolves to go at each others' throats.

As was stated before, now is the time to permanently pick a side. Remember, once you pick a side, you'll be stuck with that side for the remainder of the event. So if you like to fight alongside your homies, you might want to see what everyone else is doing before you pick a side.

Choosing a side will reward you with an upgradeable amenity. This comes in the form of an ancient vampire sword or a brutal werewolf axe. Whichever side you pick, this amenity will get more powerful as you slay your foes. So get out there and kick some ass!

It seems the mystical disturbance felt by the vampires and werewolves has brought them both to one location:The Haunted House!

It's time to finally find out what evil lurks within. Are you ready to kick some more ass and get some more Halloween goodies?

Halloween has officially ended!

Well, almost. The Haunted outhouse tunnels, Haunted yard, and Haunted House will continue to remain open until Thursday, November 7th. Should give you plenty of time to collect a bit more or complete any quests that you'd like to get done.

Once these yards close, we'll place a few NPCs in your local prison yards. This should allow players to gather up and turn in any leftover Fangs/Canines if they like. Or maybe get a Sacrificial Skull or two.

We hope everyone enjoyed this event, had some fun, and got something good out of it!

11/14/2013 - Last update reagarding Vampires vs Werewolves:

The event has officially ended! You had a week to turn in Fangs and Canines, so I hope you got everything your little black hearts desired.

The Werewolf and Vampire avatar sets are now available from the surgeon. Enjoy being a mix of night-time fairies and mutts!

A few people have asked me about alignment, so here's a quick breakdown.

The first step of the event is choosing your alignment. You can figure out how to do that on your own, which should be part of the fun.

Once you've chosen a side by completing quests for either vampires or werewolves, you'll notice that the opposing quest givers will no longer speak to you. Vampires and werewolves are assholes like that.

However, early in the event, you have the option to "reset" your progress if you like. This will grant you the opportunity to switch sides. But beware of two things:

1) You will start over from the beginning for both sides of you do this.

2) You won't be able to reset forever. The next phase will have quests that make you permanently decide whether you're fighting for vampires or werewolves. And you won't be able to back out of that decision once you make it.

Great event, maybe could have made the wolf and bat spawn more repetitive though, but overall a fantastic event!

As always, there's a Contact Form up top if you honestly suspect somebody is a dupe. Report them, or move on.

Level 1 restriction stays so that the legitimate new players can have a good time while learning the ropes.
