I honestly don't know what's wrong with you.

It's pretty simple. Look at your total numbers after weapons/armor, amenities, and the stats you've trained. If your strength is higher than your defense and speed, it will be higher when you fight in Louisiana, and your defense and speed will be lower.

So in the case of the player who had 2000 speed and only an elephant plushie, why don't you try spying on him? I bet he emptied out his cell so no amenities are boosting his stats, and he's only trained speed ever.

True, but he never did mention anything about stats. Otherwise he'd have answered his own question. Then again, maybe he did answer his own question; just didn't know it.
