I have noticed the same things, inactive folks 2 of 3 over the last two weeks who are days inactive.

Everyone should get a shot that is respected, but maybe we should have a minimum of 14 days respected status to be eligible for the warden's lottery?  I don't know, just seems like if someone is inactive they are getting a HUGE item with no intention of ever coming back.  I would much prefer for a level 1 to 3 that is active get it, that is a something that would keep them around the game longer.  Just a thought, I don't know the answer.

I am more curious what the stats are, but the last two winners of the hottubs are inactive and never even knew they ever won it. 

There has to be a random factor to it, I just don't know if the people who sign on one time, vote and then never comeback should really be eligible.  Don't they have some form of "free" respected status for a certain period of time?  I don't remember.

The current lottery is open to anyone, not just respected prisoners.

Thanks Mufasa, makes more sense to me now.  I just saw neither had respected status and thought it "wore off."

If there's one thing I hate in any online games, it's when I come back after a prolonged break only to find my account to be deleted. That lvl 1 dude won, fair and square, chances are he'll never play again but no one knows for sure. One way to solve this would be if they implemented a second lottery for respected prisoners only, like Mufasa said he would eventually do, but there may be not enough active respected players for his liking to add this yet...
