I could use some help with getting stronger.
First thing i should tell you is im prtty darn sure i put this thread in the right place. Second i guess i need help so i put it in this section. Thats about it for things to tell you before you get all mad at me. The reason im writing this thread is not cause i want to tell you about my life like lv ones do. Im srry lv ones but i find it annoying when you do that no offense. I could use help on what to train and yeah i know how to train you go to the gym. Im trying to ask what i guess "skills" should i train. Like should i only train strength, or everything. Second thing is people have been beating me up
im prtty much asking for it being the low level in SQ and all. I could have been safe in new jersey and i know i could move back but i need to stay. The money you earn in the yard as u all know isnt that great in NJ prison. I've noticed you earn more once you go to different prisons. Im trying to train and get strong and with low money you can't rlly buy energy drinks or anything and im not beggin for money from people ethier. It's stupid and annoying. All im askin is for a little help.
Thanks.
P.S. If you think you see any form of begging in this post tell me so ill rephrase it.

First off vote. Everyday vote, vote and vote. What I am talking about is there are 4 links that show up near the bottom of your page while in game that go to various gaming sites. Vote there everyday for free favors. Also, check out a few threads in the "Prison yard" forum to see how to get more free favors. It works and it works well.
How you want to play your game will determine how you train. For instance. If you want to be a "Runner" ( refer to Hanako's thread here in Inmate Orientation for definitions ) then you would train speed and strength and very little defense. Main reason is you want to be the first to hit (speed) and go through defenses (strength). Now you could want to be a defensive fighter. This focus is Defense and Strength with very little on Speed. Thought behind it is to take a lot of hits without getting hit at all, but ultimately knock the other person out.
The upside to a runner is your fast, at higher levels you can crime a lot easier IE make more money faster. Down side is, you have little defense to hold your ground.
Upside to a defensive fighter is, as stated before, being a virtual wall and coming out on top of fights. Downside is you can get mugged very easily so holding cash is almost out of the question.
The third option is an all around. A nice balance between the three. While not the greatest at any you wouldn't be faulting too bad in any. You can hold cash depending on who mugs you and you can hold your own in a fight, again depending on who you are fighting.
It's all on how you want to play. If you get hooked up with a crew or family they may have you do a specific job IE fighter or runner etc.
Hope this helps. Good luck to you. Oh also, train in lower prisons as long as you can. Your gains are a lot better in lower prisons than they are in higher prisons. So, go back to Jersey and train there. Not only will you be an upper level there, but your gains will be better. If you want info on what to put in your cell for stats to increase your gains, that information is all available in the wiki.

thanks very helpful. ive seen people with like 2,000,000 strength which are higher lvs obviously so ive been training strength. I thought if i did that i could knock ppl out in one shot. im not so sure thats a good choice now though

Maybe you're strong, but you don't stand a chance ..................

Feel the Power of a Viking Warrior....okay thanks

but are there any ways to make good money?

JimmyTh...at ur low level being a runner or ive noticed lately dvd players and tv on crates going for 40-50k ... u can buy em and then flip em for 60-65k. i do it just for shits and giggles. also having high str is good, but dont forget about spd/def at such a low lvl... id go balance until u hit like 1k-2k stats across the board then focus on 2 things... i focused on str/spd
ya i guess but the problem is earning that 50k to even buy that tv and anyway i need one. i moved to SQ and now there gone and not in my amenities that aren't being used. it stinks

In regards to money. Along with voting/favors check out the wardens desk and buy (for instance) a Chilupa or w/e the damn dog is called. Those go for a decent amount of ED"s. Firesales, 15 favors per item and you can sell what you get for cash or ED's. Jimmy had a good point, but also buying ED's and small waters then running to SQ (for you) and selling those at a little higher rate.
Don't forget to check t he yard every hour your on as well as have a job. You "can" crime, but if your serious about training, just train as criming eats up xp.
