So I've got a few questions in regards to net speed/services and was hoping some of you could help my low IQ ass out. So ATT has been coming to my door the past few weeks trying to sell me shit and I always treat them like Jehova's witnesses and shut the door. Last week someone posted in the SB saying they have 1k net speed so I did some research and found out that ATT just ran fiber all through my subdivision and now offer their gigabit service of 1k down/1k up and it's actually cheaper than what I pay for 75/10 if I bundle it with my cell phone. Only problem is I read a bunch of shit online saying that speeds will vary and that some are getting 950+ consistantly while others only get 300 tops and all the way down to 15 down. I also read that is depends on the sites that you visits server? I read that the wireless aspect of it is the main issue and requires a different router. My question is does anyone have it already and any tips if I do decide to go with it. Also if I do will I see much of a difference here on PB?
