They give 100% health yet I do not have the option to revive someone with them. Not a major thing but a inconvenience at times since they are not a revive item

right. they used to. gator jerky did, so did lollipops. basically anything item that replenished hp would revive

They did/do work in the normal yard, not the haunted one.. staff probably forgot to add it ;]

Previously, I thought all HP-restoring items picked up players. I went in and checked out the code recently, and it seems I was wrong.

I don't know if this functionality was intentional, and vintral and I had a long discussion about it. But, basically, there are some items that revive people and some items that don't. It's just how it works, and I'm not about to modify it at this exact moment.

I'm not sure this is correct. It should function the same everywhere.

Pies and CC do and any other event item dont? Any way we could have a list of some sort?

you guys DID fix it during the louisiana event so that gator jerky and all my other hp items revived ppl

I thought this was the case as well, but saw no evidence. I'll do some more digging when I'm in the office.
