Well, at level 3, your bank account can't hold that much money.  My bank account holds 120,000.   So when you level up, you can hold more money in your account and you should also have higher stats to protect your  $$$.  It's also good to buy extra items from Jeresy with all your excess cash to sell later at a mark up or to stock up on.
