New Yard Feedback
HennyPennyI think there should be multiple entrances to the yard, sort of like what they had for the north pole. That way someone like 911 cant stand at the choke point and mug everyone that enters and exits the yard.
As far as reviving i like the idea of being able to have anyone revive you by using an item. Could be health shakes or maybe even a new specific item for doing so that can only be found in the yard like a special needle.
One other thing I was thinking about was about the possibility of having capture the flag in the yard. Where the flag is marked on the map or the players avatar carrying it and you have to grab it and carry it back with you out of the yard, without it being stolen from you through attacks or mugging. Getting the flag back into the prison would have some kind of reward.
I was wondering, are you able to mug items off of people in the yard?

So far, our concept for gang territories went something like this:
- There will be some sort of process to "register" a gang, and it won't be too cheap. This is to prevent a million random nobodies from starting a million gangs.
- Each tile on the map could be owned by a gang
- Initially, every gang has a fair chance to grab some land, because the tiles on every map will be unowned.
- Gangs can only grab 1 tile of land per day (or some similar limitation)
- Gangs could battle each other in some fashion to steal territory from each other.
Gang battles might be in the form of a day-long battle system where all gang members can participate. While stealing territory, you're at war with the gang that you're stealing the territory from. Any attacks between rival gang members then deplete from some overall health pool that when it reaches 0, you win the gang war, your gang steals that plot of land.
Keep in mind, this is the first rendition, so the details might change. I figured I'd fill you in on some potential ideas for the map as it relates to gangs though.

There is nothing to be confused about, I posted that it's an open item, but no details. We've toyed with the idea internally for a bit, and nothing we came up with made much sense (i.e. if a gang owns a certain coordinate they get a % from each dig or they can place defenses to protect members within their walls -- creating a safe haven). As mentioned though, none of the ideas panned out.
BubbaKushit would be cool that if a certain gang contolled more teritory that they got more money or somthing from it
I made that change specifically for that reason (since people from all prisons would be there), but didn't consider it for the normal yard. I'll look into a solution here (maybe a "no fight zone" or something)
