Originally posted by DamionD I hope you republican supporters have your speech ready since i stated before hand that the country does not need someone who has no plan on how he was going to take the country forward. I did admire you guys admiration and grim hope in Romney winning this election. Good job on the democratic supporters who knew Obama was destined to win yet another election.

where are the republican supporters like hokiefan and shawshank. I'm still waiting for that special so whenever you guys got it together let us know.

In bed sleeping because we gotta work to support the welfare collectors that voted obama back in

You were sleeping. I find it rather difficult to concur that you were sleeping while the rest of the country were up waiting on the decision. Unless you already knew the result of the election ahead of time and were just making a mockery of yourself in this thread.

no, i went to sleep because I had to wake up at 5am to go to work this morning.

I had to be up for work myself but i decided that it won't hurt if i stayed up a bit later than my usual bed time to see the results

Please Pistol..I'm from Massachuseets..he was never predicted to win..it's Massachusetts..the bluest state in the nation.Touting that outcome is kinda silly...was Gore a loser when he didn't carry Tennesee??

all im saying is he bragged and took credit for everything in Mass and he could not even pull in his hometown......no matter....OBAMA.....won....and I'm tired of this thread......back to PB.......u should be wise and closed this damn thang.......4 more years....on my way to work to tease all the OBAMA haters........today is a good day what do u think Shank.......

Actually his hometown is in Michigan,he moved to Mass. in 1975..but good day??..no I'm w/ the 50% of the population who didn't vote for Obama...as far as thread closing...I'm still debating and consulting w/ my coharts...enjoy your day....and fwiw Pistol..Dukakis and Kerry also extolled the excellence of Massachusetts and lost...it is what it is

50 percent of the population did not vote for Obama and more than half of those can't tell you what Romney plans were so they voted either because they did not like the route the country is going or simply because he is black. How can someone grasp the idea of voting if you have no clue how Romney was going to run the country. No plans or anything but you still voted for him simply because Obama is a black president. I finally see why you're included in that 50 percent of the population. Personally i would not have voted period if i didn't think for a second that Obama was trying his best and believed that he will continue to try his best because i knew Romney had no plans and was not willing to give my vote for a man with no structured on how he was going to make this country better except for his "first amendment" saying he will set this country on the right path but if asked how he has no answer.

4 years ago, nobody had any clue how Barack Obama was going to run the country, or what the details of his plan was. His plan was "hope" and "change" and "not george bush". he had no record as a us senator or a state senator, and no due diligence was done on him by the media. so tell me, didn't most folks vote for him because of the sentiment of "anybody but bush"? I am not aligned with where Obama is taking this country, so a vote against him is a vote for going a different direction. it's all a wash now anyway, we'll just have to wait 4 more years and let history decide if it was the right decision or not. If we're 4 years removed and the debt is at $20+T, then we fucked up. That is honestly where I think we're going. I'll be happy to keep this thread bumped up throughout that time.

Why bother, but here goes..I can attest that Hokie was up till atleast 11:00...ohio was called at 11:30...at that point Romney had no mathematical shot at winning the electorial college..he was up on popular vote...but once ohio fell it was lights out....as far as your assumption that 1/2 the ppl voted for romney because they didn't like his plan or bcause he was black that's a stupid assumption....most just didn't like the way the country was going, maybe pro-life maybe anti- gay mariage maybe just voted their party....I would tend to believe more republicans knew and believed why they were voting for romney then the people who voted for obama seeing how he carried a large youth vote and they are historically unaware or uninformed on the issues and the poorer voters and less educated are ussually a strong democratic base..so their awareness of issues might also be questionable.

RJP..it goes both ways..Damion says ppl didn't vote 4 obama because he's black..his words not mine...so can't it go the other way and say some ppl voted for him because he's black.....and altho I'm on cellphone atm..I'm sure you can pull up any number of facts figures that show as far as base voter goes..Democrats traditionally get the poorer and thus less educated...if you,not me,but you wanna call them "dumb niggas who don't know shit but he black"..that's up to you...and those are your words not mine...I offered my congrats and kudos this morning..but if peeps wanna keep thread alive..I'm down with that...we can chronicle Obamas fuck-ups and misteps here....maybe 4 more years of blaming bush or maybe this is the year he shuts down gitmo....lmao...this guy provides great fodder

some did vote for obama cuzz he was black no doubt... but then some voted for romney cuzz hes white. the same thing goes for poor/rich, and all the rest of there views... i didnt get enough answers outta romney as to what his plans were... could someone tell me what they were? inbox me and ill wait... everyone who voted on him should be able to tell a reason why, while they accuse obamas supporters of voting for him cuzz hes black. if ur not rich or white or republican, id like to kno a reason, because if u knew what it felt like to b hungry wit no ends, then u would support him to

he is the executive leader, when someones is the leader, the buck stops with them. I'm a leader at my company and if shit goes south, I'm the one to blame, even if it was someone below me who fucked up.

Meaning he has no real voice in what happens, ppl write his speaches and make the decisions while he makes it seem like hes in charge... hes the face, but the face of a currupt system that realistically has us all fooled... and i use US loosely
