Hold on Partner..with the Philly School shit.......Philly never got the money they asked for the schools.....and whatever money was given was bullshit.....teachers are overworked and underpaid......Philly closed down numerous schools in the black communties; however, the suburbs where not affected...they have all their books, computers, small classroom sizes...plus Philly is one of the largest school systems in the country so they require more money.....children these days suck at school becasue of Bush dumb ass No Child Left Behind act....where kids pass for just showing up and dont learn shit so that when they graduate high school all they have to look forward is to "street life" or join the military so they can be shipped to fight unecssary wars....Philly schools were doing fine until Bush pulled the plug..then went into his charter school bag... which is nothing more than a small buisness and not a school.....look at the percentage of kids from charter school compared to regular school that go on to college

Plus if u want to take it a step futher....damn near 75% of teachers in the black communites are white and they dont give a fuck about the black children...they come to work everyday just to pick up a check and they are not trying to push the children to learn they just retreat back to the suburbs and complain how they hate their jobs

I think that the GOP is finally realizing that our nation has changed demographically. You cant say disparaging remarks towards woman when 4 years ago A Woman was a VP Nominee( No matter how unqualified) and another was a potential Democratic Nominee (whom I voted for in the general election). Gays are no longer trapped in the closet. A lot of the foreigners are actually citizens now. And OUR President represents OUR Nation, a mixed man in a mixed nation. You could look at The Presidents Audience on Tuesday and Romney's Audience and clearly see which one represented the Nation. The GOP is looking for a second chance and according to Boehner they are going to work to get it right now because they know they need to save face for 2016! They failed at making him a 1 term President so now they have no choice if they want any shot at 2016!

Im not a millionaire so i dont have the luxury of only being taxed on my interest(which is not being taxed on federal income which makes him part of the same 47% he talked about). But every time I make my company a profit every month I get taxed twice. And according to his on tax return he showed his capital gain rate was taxed at about the same as mine but I didnt get paid anywhere near what he claimed in interest alone. Who is that fair to? Most mill/billionaires who arent greedy want to be taxed higher and many have even vowed to give away most of their wealth before they die instead of afterwards.

Social Security is only taxed up to $110,000 in yearly income. An extra 1% of taxes on people making $200k a year alone would keep Social Security sustainable for a long time.

How are all of Obama's supporters looking to get paid AGAIN exactly Hokie? How was I paid from the 2008 election? Did I receive an Obama vote check? Was there a secret Negro fund check I was supposed to receive? Because I didnt get that check? Or do you mean Welfare, SSI, Unemployment, Health care, etc...? Because we all pay into that! couple points/questions...1st Pistol,i appreciate your feedback/opinion on education system,and in my view problem..since i feel your on the inside a couple questions..in the urban area by me,most parents clamor for their kids to get into charter schools,their 1st choice is actually a school choice program whereas they can send there kids to suburban schools,albeit the suburban school then gets the per pupil funding..so in my opinion it seems charter schools out perform public schools,granted they are for profit and not strapped with outlandish union requirements...now the white teachers who flee to suburbs..i wish the schools to renogotiate contracts and require residency requirements for all employees..if your good enough to take the districts money you should be good enough to live within the district..that would solve that problem..bad teachers who don't give a fuck...shit can them..we all hear the horror stories of rooms full of teachers who can't teach yet still draw a check.....enact benchmarks that teachers must meet or pay for performance type standards....my example..i pay close to 10k per year in re tax....over 60% of my towns budget is for schools (and we have zero business tax base)...yet my school spends a fraction per student (8k vs. 15k) that some urban schools spend....and we just built a new high school,yet we get reimbursed only 20% of the cost,yet when the urban city builds a new high school,they get reimbursed 85% from state...so suburbs spend less,pay alot more,yet produce a better product....how so??
