Originally posted by shawshank I'll address both your posts, albeit on cellphone and cannot pull up video i'll just going by your rants..first,altho I can't speak for hokie,I don't "hate" obama, hates an awfull strong word,I didn't hate ted kennedy or hate clinton or hate dukakis or hate john kerry..what I do do is strongly disagree with their agendas, opinions and viwpoints and how they go about trying to influence and force them on others.....2nd,without viewing your video,if a dictator is torturing, raping or inhumanely treating his people in such a way to araise awareness to the free world, and inturn that freeworld turns a back on the oppressed then that's a horrible freeworld...as a veteran of the military I have no problem and actually a yurning to help those people no matter where they are..so I would advocate,by any means neccasary,to do so...that's my closing, sorry I am not going to stoop down to your level and address your points of "bush's fake war" and other slight inuendo that demeans W 2 terms...I'll stay on topic of Obamas 2nd term discussion thread.

So you say that to say what? That you agree that W's fake war was caused by manipulating the People with fear and propaganda to attack a country and a Man that DID NOT attack us on 9/11? Or that you dont want to talk ill of your party? Or the fact that Hussein attacked the Kurds while Bush the first was VP when it happened and when he was Pres he waged war on Hussein and in turn got a hit put out on him? W clearly didnt go after Hussein because of his attacks of the Kurds that was during daddy's term. You saying you dont want to demean W's name is basically saying you agree with what I said!!!

your probably right Dem...maybe after every post, the posters gotta add 1 of their favorite dessert/meal recpipes so ppl get something for reading the same BS over and over.....back to worm, altho some of your points have validity,my issues are with your "fake war" or "daddy's revenge" theories....I find them as hard believe as you do my angle of going in with the best data and honest intelligence we had at the time, that the majority of all senators (r&d) believed,I would think presented the same intel, they would do it again..I supported and still support the decision to go in and remove saddam,he was a weapon of mass destruction.... http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/pot-roast-recipe2/index.html .

There was no data or honest intelligence. This a grand scheme of wagging the dog to get people to forget how he dropped the ball on 9/11 even though they did have "data and honest intelligence" that the attacks were going to happen. Now the "data and honest intelligence" they had on 9/11 resulted in over 3000 dead Americans. The "data and honest intelligence" on Saddam and the WMD's resulted in how many weapons being obtained? NONE! Not one! Again fear and Propaganda led to the vote to go to war. Not to mention Colin Powell's incensed speech to Congress because he was lied to as a result he stepped down and not to mention later endorsed Obama in 2008. Which spoke volumes to the people thet even Republicans dont want to vote for Rebublicans! Go talk to Powell and see if you dont change your mind about the war with Iraq!!

EDIT: And not to mention the fact that Bin Laden and Al Queida admitted to being the conspirators of 9/11 and W basically said fuck that we going after Saddam! You tell me the reasoning behind it? Now my initial point was that you said W's war because of chemical warfare on the kurds(No it wasnt) but you said in around about terms because you cant agree with Obama that you would agree with Obama in going to war with Syria? And since you stand behind Isreal and that is where we are getting our "intelligence" from. Is it or is it not your stance to stand behind Your President on this issue?

Worm, most of your posts (not all) are generally your opinion, which is fine..but how do you claim bush dropped the ball on 9/11??..bin laden 1st planned attacks on nyc were in 93...all the planning for 9/11 was on clintons watch..again,I think on the topics of bush's presidency we will always disagree..no point in discussing, history is already re-examing the raw deal he got as his poll #'s continue to climb favorably (last I saw higher the o's)..and if o wants to go into syria and take out a tyrant I back him 100%..and I don't always disagree w/ everything o does..some I agree with...but if I had to point a finger it would be at clintons intel department in allowing 9/11 and the 3k dead...between 1993 bombing, embassy bombings the uss cole bombing...I mean, what the fuck was going on in that oval office??????......oooops,we now know what was,lol..but bottom line worm is u have your opinion and interprutation of the bush terms and I have mine, and as strong as both r opinions are, basically 50% of the country agree with you and 50% of the country agree with me..just the way it is,you disagree with me and I disagree with you..that's what makes america great. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/rachael-ray/vickis-favorite-chicken-with-grapes-couscous-and-roasted-asparagus-recipe/index.html

here's a good one:

http://www.atr.org/obamacares-tax-hike-train-wreck-a7587

Obamacare Individual Mandate Non-Compliance Tax: Starting in 2014, anyone not buying “qualifying” health insurance – as defined by President Obama’s Department of Health and Human Services -- must pay an income surtax to the IRS. The Congressional Budget Office recently estimated that six million American families will be liable for the tax, and as pointed out by the Associated Press: “Most would be in the middle class.”

In addition, 100 percent of Americans filing a tax return (140 million filers) will be forced to submit paperwork to the IRS showing they either had “qualifying” health insurance for every month of the tax year or they obtained an exemption to the mandate.

Obamacare Flexible Spending Account Tax: The 30 - 35 million Americans who use a pre-tax Flexible Spending Account (FSA) at work to pay for their family’s basic medical needs face a new Obamacare cap of $2,500. This will squeeze $13 billion of tax money from Americans over the next ten years. (Before Obamacare, the accounts were unlimited under federal law, though employers were allowed to set a cap.) Now, a parent looking to sock away extra money to pay for braces will find themselves quickly hitting this new cap, meaning they would have to pony up some or all of the cost with after-tax dollars. Needless to say, this tax will especially impact middle class families. There is one group of FSA owners for whom this new cap will be particularly cruel and onerous: parents of special needs children. Nationwide there are several million families with special needs children and many of them use FSAs to pay for special needs education. Tuition rates at one leading school that teaches special needs children in Washington, D.C. (National Child Research Center) can easily exceed $14,000 per year. Under tax rules, FSA dollars can be used to pay for this type of special needs education. This Obamacare tax provision will limit the options available to these families. (Bill: PPACA; Page: 2,388-2,389)

Obamacare High Medical Bills Tax: Before Obamacare, Americans facing high medical expenses were allowed a deduction to the extent that those expenses exceed 7.5 percent of adjusted gross income (AGI). Obamacare now imposes a threshold of 10 percent of AGI. Therefore, Obamacare not only makes it more difficult to claim this deduction, it widens the net of taxable income. According to the IRS, 10 million families took advantage of this tax deduction in 2009, the latest year of available data. Almost all are middle class. The average taxpayer claiming this deduction earned just over $53,000 annually. ATR estimates that the average income tax increase for the average family claiming this tax benefit will be $200 - $400 per year. To learn more about this tax, click here. (Bill: PPACA; Page: 1,994-1,995)
