well it isn't "drop a bomb on every country", we had terrorists capture some of our citizens. We have the best force in the world, shouldn't we have been right there at the table discussing recovery strategy? I'm just asking.. that would be my hope if I were captured.

I am sure the US would allow Canadian forces into the rescue operation, but fair point. The US isn't an Algeria either though, we have a bit more capability and reliability (as shown) than they do.

Out of 792 hostages 3 were said to be American 1 is Believed to be dead. Sounds like the Algerians and French militaries handled their business. And few details were given to other countries.
