just wondering how many consoles where in the sale? i think there where bout 22000 boxes. how many of them where a wii, a xbox or a ps3?

I think each boxes had a 1% chance of containing a random console. I might be off track though.

Whisky, if we had 1% chance - we could get around 220 ones total... too many for around 600 active players, right? maybe 0,1% looks more likely...

I agree that 1% might be a bit high, but .1% is almost impossible to acheive. There's staticaly no way that I could have found 2 Wii in 70 (350 favors) tries in the first run. That's why I think 1% is more probable.

Mufasa might have changed the odds on the second Bag though. I have almost 80 (400 favors) tries. and no game console. I've chatted with several people who also found multiple consoles on the first bag with less then 100 tries but none on the second bag with the same amount of tries.

But my initial thought was that Mufasa might have rigged every 100 boxes with a console because I've noticed that my Wii's were won, on, or very near, every 100 marks.

haha, I assure you it was 100% random. There were a certain number of each item, they were then randomized and inserted into the database and then when you buy it was then randomized again. So yeah, no trickery on my part.

Out of 2,000 initial items, there were 40 consoles, only 10 of which were ps3s

and the second bag? were there any consoles? if yes, same rate? that would be 400... don't think so
