Part of game that shouldn't affect the gameplay / glitch?

I've discovered that someone is getting their hits completed by staying in the yard, Due to the 15 second auto refresh the hit is being completed. This isn't fair as the person isn't physically online. Therefore the hit list is being exploited by this person.
This may be a sort of unforeseen part of the game overlooked by the creators. Due to the glitch/exploit being so common it may have also been overlooked by the players of this game. Not pointing any fingers at anyone except MGK who intentionally uses this to his advantage.

I've seen people offline in the yard so im pretty sure the auto refresh stops eventually and signs you out
palomaThis may be the case. But some openly admit, even boast the fact that they have turned off the screensaver and auto stand by just so they remain online. If you don't close your browser it will auto refresh.

i was wondering if it was supposed to be like that though... when i used to go in the yard and leave pb minimized on desktop it would always show me as being online. i know a few other ppl it would do that to also. not sure if it still does or not

we tested it in SB yesterday, i went in the yard, left that window open and on top, then went off for 5 minutes, i stayed online. or at least i think i did since the people arguing about if it was possible stopped after that.
rog_yes swc i have a friend who was pm'ing me and wondering why i wasnt answering... it's happened several times. it will say anywhere from 0 secs to 15 secs last seen when in the yard if its just minimized on desktop

Can I ask why somebody would want to stay online? Unless they were colluding with another person in order to give them the hit placed on their own head.
