some bootlegs can be read by Xbox ( core ) and Ps3slim, and some other ones can't, is that a bug, or it's meant to be this way..

I think the newer ones do and the ones released before the new consoles dont.

Bootleg DVDs can be played on the new consoles.

The DVDs that have been around for ages: (Yoga with Yogi, Boxing with the Stars, Scarface) can only be played on the original consoles.. or DVD player.

nop, i have Xbox and Ps3 slim, and if i take my dvd player out, both my Ironmans get out too

Guess some DVDs are just different than others. I suppose that's what we get for buying things from a shady looking stranger.
