Is it just me or has PB seriously slowed down lately during the 5min ticks.

Ill be training and It seems like site freezes for 10-15 secs at a time and its almost every 5 mins.

Or ill be trying to access the forums and the screen just freezes.

Anyone else having this issues like this recently?

nope me too, its been doin it a lot lately.. ive tried to load other pages while it lags an they load fine. definitely not my internet connection

I can concur. I thought it was the nightly backup issue (which caused the site to be down, but that got fixed) so now it seems like there are sporadic downtimes. It's been happening since I've joined the site.

yep it lags for 10 to 20 sec on 5 min tic and i am sure Mu is working to fix that script

If he's using cron jobs that would make sense anyway, the database is having to update 52,000+ members accounts per tick? But for me the downtime is longer than that and sporadic like I said. Sometimes I cannot access the site for a few minutes.
