I find this an interesting statement cees...why is it that 99% percent of these two "organizations" consist of solely blacks?why isn't their more white participation??...now personally I could give 2 fucks about crips,bloods,southwest pose or any other violent,murderous,treacherous street thug gang that deals in illegal trade and often targets innocents and bystanders whom might be in the wrong place at the wrong time..now cees,you seem intelligent enough,wouldn't you rather see those 99% involved in more constructive things and improving their lot in life??it seems the avenue those 99% have chosen is not condusive to being a positive contribution to society or helping themselves become a productive member of society...any thought?[/quote]

i have met a few white members myself,thats why i said 98% because its not solely 1 race anymore,as far as construtive goes,not everything u see on the news is the whole thing,there r alot of gang members that live successful lives and have great jobs and try to help other members become success in life,but whats sells or keeps u glued to the events in the world, a gang member shottin up the place or a gang member opening up a business that helps the needy or even a group of gang members volunteering to feed the homeless,now if that was broadcast then ppl would think differently about gangs in general....there r gang members that have also become lawyers,i havent met any judges yet though...what u see isnt always reality shank

Further,I don't see crips or bloods helping build houses w/ habitat for humanity or volunteering to seve xmas dinner at the local homeless shelter..what kinda role model r leaders of these groups providing for the younger generation??if these positives r happening please provide video to support,maybe I'm misinformed of their mission statement and the contributions to their local neighborhoods they provide.

so what would prefer to see shank a group of guys wearing bandannas to prove that they r down and they r helpin build these house,those days r long gone,i for 1 make sure that my younger members r attending school cause they r our future doctors and lawyers,the days of hanging on the street corners r over,been there done that,the system is made for u to get locked up at a young age,get a couple of felonies on your record and u end up either going back to a life of crime or in jail, ever group has to evolve or suffer the same mistakes from the past..... i cant stop them from joining gangs but i can sure help lead them in the right direction

Thanks shg,and it slices both ways..when I see these "rallys" in the south where you got 6 or 7 year old kids w/sheets over their heads and shouting out filth..what kinda future do those kids got??why aren't the adults putting this garbage in their heads held accountable??...the more positive mentors,role models and god forbid PARENTS that todays youth have the better of for all.
