I've personally dug up quite a few golden tickets in SQ(20+) and I dunno if ratios are different for each prison or not so this may not help. I'm a firm believer of the dig'n'move strategy. I've tried digging 2 or 3 times on 1 square and a couple of times used a full energy bar or 3 on 1 square but I've not found anything other than standard items that way. As others have mentioned, you get more cash by only digging each square once too and you get to cover more of the map in one go(have no idea if that matters or not though). But you do end up clicking twice as much and my wrist hurts :|

I have noticed I tend to have a better chance to find tickets in the more out-of-the-way places(as suggested by the way Tommy worded his question IMO) but I've also found them lying a few squares from the entrance or in the middle of wide open spaces so I might just be seeing patterns where none exist.

unfortunately i don't think there are any out of the way places in SD. ya'll get everywhere

ah yeah, forgot to say, I'm not sure about the numbers as I thought it was around 50% stamina but it definitely makes a difference to cash found if not tickets/items.
