Ahhh, Dumme Birger (slang name for Dimmu Borgir here in Norway).

Dumme = Stupid

Birger = a guys name.

But from joke to revolver - Dimmu Borgir are good, not my everyday music, but they are great musicians. And also hails from the same Country as me. hehe One of Norway's greatest musical exports.

They are considered as Symphonic Black Metal, but not an extreme black metal band like Darkthrone, Emperor, and many more. As DB got much more symphonies, classical inspirations and Shagrath (teh singer) growls in a better and more understandable way that some other black metal growlers.

DB has exicted for lots of years, but just recently they fired two of their members cause of personal and professional disputes. Dunno if they are replaced yet or not. But yet I still think that DB will surive, to many great musicians who want tot joint this band, so DB can pick from the top shelf!

Regarding - a previously college of mine plays drums in this band. And in fact I did help out somewhat on this musical viceo shoot. Guess what I did, if anyone dares?
