2km distance, yeah it'd be tricky, but possible with the right skill, and a little further as well if on an excellent vantage point with height and workable wind conditions, and again, skill.

Wish I had that kinda accuracy =P

haha, id imagine you would feel like a human catapult.

after taking a shot like that

This thread is pathetic. I'm proud to not live in America.

I don't live in America, I don't have any American connections other than online contact, a few things sold & posted to there, and use some American products, but I also believe in a form of gun control.

Any country that does allow any form of arms via gun license, personally I think the vetting process is lax, but at the same time, the majority of crime involving a gun of any kind, the weapon itself is usually either illeagal, stolen, or home-made(be it a zip gun or converted replica/blank firing).

Any crime involving a legal gun via the gun owner, the dude usually pops himself anyway, he cracked one day and again with a better vetting process.

Any crime involving a legal firearm used by someone other than the gun owner, the gun owner themself should face charges as well unless circumstances prove otherwise.

But a country where gun laws don't exist except that they are outrightly banned, is just retarded.

Look at Liechtenstein, a country between Austria and Switzerland, or even Finland or Switzerland itself, and compare the amount of legit guns flying about, as well as old unregistered guns in private collections, with the gun crime itself in those countries. Miniscule in comparison.

I don't hunt live game with a gun, or hunt in any form except for a spot of fishing if I'm out rowing for the weekend, but I do enjoy target shooting and walking pistol ranges, love it.

I want to go for a holiday to Knob Creek in Kentucky sometime, google it or YouTube it if you haven't heard of it.

But I'm damn sure that this thread isn't pathetic =P

There's a difference between having a gun under your bed for protection,

A couple of rifles to go shooting with (ducks, deer or clay pigeon shooting, whatever..)

and having a collection of handguns and semi-auto weapons with armour and posting up images and descriptions of how cool they are on forums.

That difference makes this thread pathetic.

Well the majority of people that post about them, use them.

We are on a prison based game's forum, it somehow suits the theme that little bit. It's not like we are glorifying Columbine. Personally I think they should've shot themselves sooner, before they went bowling & on to school, cutting out the rest of the bloodbath.

Seems like you have a real beef with weaponry.

It wouldn't surprise me if most people on here are 15 or below. So of course they love guns and prisons.

And no I don't really have any erm.. 'beef' with weaponry. I've gone along with a couple of pheasant shoots.

But the way a lot of the guys are talking about guns in this thread is just reminding me of that scene in Taxi Driver where Robert De Niro is flipping his pistols about in the mirror. Kinda sad.

Funny thing is that's an iconic scene in the film where you define his character.

He got a gun to suit his image, when you want a gun to suit your hand.

I'm sure there's plenty of kids on this site entirely, a lot of the attitudes just scream it out, and I dare say several have posted in this thread, but if we can't put an age lock on it, too bad.

You also forgot to include the bank heist scene in the film 'Heat' as that's another iconic De Niro/Firearm scene.

Funny thing is those cops should have known better about doing a shoot out in the streets like that and therefore those two behind the truck shouldn't of been visable, eliminating the mass carnage, and allowing  a more controlled take down. Cos it was Hollywood, they went for the brutal LA shoot out, and the carnage that ensues.

Gotta love action films, eh? =P
