We consulted with a representative from SUN today (the company that actually MAKES MySQL) for some database tweaks. We backed up the database, and went to apply the changes, and then POOF! The server locked up.

Once the sucker was rebooted, we thought we should keep HTTP traffic off while the update finished. We've added an extra day Respected to all those with respect

lol i remember the dude who complained about the respected time "Wasted" because the server was off for an hour lol... anyways glad to see the game is up xD

So we took the server offline to run a battery of tests, and it seemed to pass them all, and it was only when we rebooted that we noticed shit was fucked up. So the host is putting in a call to the hardware manufacturer to get to the bottom of this shit
