Yes I definately think it is a good idea but it depends on you. You decide at the end. I think that people should have to be there at least once every month but they have a 60 free vacation day a year. If they pass the 60 day vac. than they have to use a favor.... If you need a mod I am willing (for free).

If the goal is to advertise the game, one way that wouldn't require setting up a whole application might be just setting up a Facebook fan page, which is quite easy to do and would allow players to advertise the game for free to their friends.

The purpose is not just advertisement, but also giving 1st look to the users. Let say, if i call people to join PB, most of the people not even view, some will see but because of hurdle of making new id will leave, those who will join might not come back to PB, because they forgot or something.

But when you add PB app at FB, then if i invite, they will definitally look into it, because they already have facebook id so they wont need to create new one, similarly after joining, the major chance is while looking at my progress on FB, they will think again & again to come to PB, & use it.

there is already a Prisonblock fan group which I joined!
