When walking with these eggs I don't seem to be getting any new text with them. (have been walking alot with them.

I also had one egg saying walk to hatch but could still hatch it?

You hatched the Spotted Egg and got a Hatchimal amenity!

Hard to say without more info, but not sure I see a bug here.

Should the message not change when the egg is ready to hatch? or am I mistaken?

It does change depending how far along you are. It will be the same if you haven't walked all that much (and taking it out of your pack resets it)

Ok, Thanks. So I have walked roughly 6-7 hours with an egg and its still says the same. 'Walk to hatch'. However if i click to open it i imagine it will open?

This is what happened with the first one I had. Should it not have changed the message before I was allowed to open it?

If you walk long enough it will be gold....if not enough you will hatch a purple or gold. You don't know until you use it. The walk to hatch is always there with the curser. Hatch one at a time until you see a gold one in events.
