cant add gear to watch list

tried to with the new spidey gloves and got invalid item... thought maybe just cuz it was new. but then i tried a couple other gear things and got the same message. they are on the list but cant add

It returns the same message "Invalid item" when I try to add other gears ... and I try it to add a gear that is already on my watch-list, same message invalid item, not something like "You are already watching this item ..."
