whats the best way to gain experience and level up?

My Advice from playin this game would be to train alot, you can fight ppl, mug ppl, and do crimes to level up, but focus on alot of training, you dont need to really rush it, im level 4, and i fucked up a level 5 a couple times, because the wana fight lower levels and keep fighting to level up, but thier stats is weak, so when they get to the level they want, they up there gettin fucked up lol, you can fight and all that other shit, but focused on ya stats, so when you get where you wana be, you'll be as strong as you need to be, and not gettin ran over by ppl in ya level,  thats my opinion,
