...did they hack it, or did you just use a simple password and/or stay logged in somewhere? If someone actually "hacked" your profile, then they got into the site, wouldn't they do more than just touch your profile?

If I understand correctly, if their IP was logged that means they went through the verification process successfully, i.e., know your password, i.e., change it.
