Gangs have not been implemented into this game yet.  Remember, It is still "beta".

If you've been following any info on the site, gangs are a big topic, but they don't exist yet.

We're doing what we can to make it happen. In the meantime, there are a few

people representing "gangs" (just a collection of people, some of them

share gang signatures). You can talk to them and see if they'll let you

on board, but they're technically not gangs, as far as the actual game is concerned. Just a band of fellows waiting for us to release the real thing.

Blood. Blood everywhere. Everywhere, blood.

might not be a real "gang" as far as the game is concerned, or implimented..but there is still organization. with raids, trading, items, amenities, sending money, etc. if someone needs something they will probably get it asap. certain people are in charge of getting ahold of say inmates 1-10 and then another is in charge of getting inmates 11-20 to do a certain task, and so on.  For instance I'd say there are many benefits for being in "The Brotherhood".  You get protection, and again per say if you needed some redbulls or some cash.. we'd do our best to get that for you... other prisoners without those contacts dont get that. plus you get to meet and interact with more inmates than if u would just not talking to anyone. though some people dont want that and i can completely understand. you could say a downfall with being associated to the brotherhood is that you can be a target... but that hasn't happened yet.. and you'll be a target to someone eventually..might as well have friends to back you up.

I would definitely recommend being a "respected" prisoner and spending the very little $ that it requires.  The benefits are way better than you think until you experience it.  Besides that this is a great game that is only going to keep growing.  Aside from  the benefits, it's my way of helping out and doing my part.
