Smart choice. Joining a gang is a mutual agreement, meaning that even if you want to, someone has to want you too.

yea id wait till lv3 or 4 and see if one of the large gangs wants you,also never make a low lv gang

As a gang leader for new players It would be best if you focused on your stats dont worry about ranking up. that will come in time. You wanna be a solid fighter before you start ranking. And be careful who you trust these guys will bribe you then beat you. Good luck!

I haven't touched crimes yet. Id do the same. It means you will always be the strongest for your level.
