Steam is a bitch that way. Good luck with multiplayer with their games. However, I find that an acceptable trade-off because the fucknuggets have made their way onto PC online games...

Steam is DRM. Regardless of how much convenience it gives, all DRM should be outlawed. Just wait til you have to be online just to play the game...
