ok my random question is

i turn 21 in a few days and ive always wanted to pack a pistol legaly so.....

does anyone know if a misdemeanor possion of a controlled substance charge (convicted) will keep me from owning a pistol (legaly)?

unless you beat someone with your bag of weed i think you're ok. that's the only one i know of that prevents you from owning a gun with a misdemeanor. but i'm no expert
