Maybe a Shaman or Priest amenity that goes in your cell and decreases the chance of an amentiy being removed.

Just as crawdads decrease chances of OD with EDs.

That is a better idea rather than changing the toilet

who knows there is thanksgiving and xmas coming up staff may have already thought of it

MGK_ and I had discussed this. I am into the idea. Also, to clarify, the dude's not looking for a handout. Here's a breakdown of the situation:

The Haunted Toilet's goal was to be an amazing amenity, but with a twist. As many know, (Clean) Toilets continue to be one of the most sought-after amenities. This is why we chose it as the model for the Haunted Toilet. Except we took it a step further, and made the Haunted Toilet's stats even better.

But, the Haunted Toilet has a downside. I mean, it's haunted! So you can get these insanely good stats on an amenity, but you have to pay for it in a unique way.

But I'm not opposed to a "solution". This is what MGK_ was talking about, a way to "cleanse" the toilet of its evil spirits, thus negating the negative effects of the toilet. If this were to happen, the energy gains from it would certainly be reduced as well. +15 energy, with no downside is just stupid.

Our ultimate goal here is to give players useful items, but not break the game. This is commonly referred to as a "double-edged sword". I hope this explanation helps!

Now if is this is the case then ok. However that should've been already in the event. People who got rid of them because of the side effects now get screwed because of an after thought. Thats messed up!

This idea is pretty good. An amenity someday that reduces chances would be cool.

But I like the idea of the haunted toilet and the mechanics behind it, the reward out weighs the risk imo. It does not totally take the piss either. Theres a small chance it will chuck a DVD then another small chance that dvd may get confiscated, so over all theres not a huge risk. Personally think it should stay the way it was intended.

I'm sorry, but I have a very hard time feeling sorry for players who unload items before an event has even ended. I mean, I understand if you want to maximize your profits. But often hasty decisions aren't the best decisions.
