are you using any extensions that may affect this? Like AdBlock? Try disabling some of your extensions and reloading the page. In the address bar, copy and paste this to see your extensions list:

chrome://extensions/

done that.. but it still aint showing up i disabled all my extensions and reloaded the page

sorry, I meant reload Chrome. Close the window, and relaunch it.

nah, it won't matter how long you close it for. Yeah, dunno what to tell you, man. The only other thing is that you might have JavaScript disabled. Your anti-virus program may have automatically disabled it. The editor buttons are called using JavaScript, and you can check your settings by going here:

chrome://settings/content

Check the JavaScript section and make sure the box next to "Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)" is checked.

it did say my java needed to be updated.. thats most prob why.. well thanks anyway.
