I can not attack or mug bigwoopsgirl.

When I try I get a message saying You can't attack bigwoopsgirl because her account is marked as a duplicate of yours.

How can this be as I have never met this person and they are not using the same PC as me.

I have messaged them and they live in Leeds while I am near Bristol.

Help

This seems to be a UK thing. Does all the broadband companies over there just give everybody the same IP?! Somehow I feel more fortunate that I am stuck with Comcast...

Just checked and we are not on the same broadband network. How can we have the same IP address then?

I suppose its possible this is a DSL thing since each DSL company has a certain range of dynamic IP's to give to their members. You could have been set up with an IP that they logged on with at some point. I guess that is the one benefit of having a static IP...

correct darth. there are only a certain amount of different ips and they arent always unique to each person so there is a chance that 2 people can have the same ip
