Can mug people while there in iso [bug]
Pretty straight forward tried to mug demhelius while he was in iso and it worked..
luckily the fucker got away..
Looks like everybody was mugging Dem while he was in isolation. The issue should be resolved though.
DemOlitionI was just abbout to create a thread haha, how did this happen KT? Just me/did i do anything?
something interesting is that i failed a crime and I managed to get in for TWO hours, that has never happened to me maximum is usually around 1 hour
while in iso lol:
Edit:
I got slighty mindfucked over here lol, i dont know how many times i re-read the time stamps on those events and compared it to the game time..and im sober lol

if i got out the yard i woulda helped "test" the bug
DemOlitionok nvm bout my post had it explained, brock isnt as useless as youd think sometimes lol

There was a bug, Dem, where for a little while you could mug those in the infirmary. It was created recently after a change I made, but was quickly resolved. Oddly, everyone chose to mug you.
On the other aspect of your post:
What we refer to as "stacking isolation time" has been the norm for a few months now. It's a bit hard to explain exactly how the system works, but I'll give it a shot:
For simplicity, let's assume every failed crime will land you exactly 30 minutes in the hole.
--------------------------------
- Let's say you commit a crime and fail. You get tossed in iso for 30 minutes.
- You immediately buy out.
- You immediately commit another crime and fail.
- This would normally just give you 30 minute stay in iso. But because you have 30 minutes of unserved time, you now have 60 minutes. This will continue indefinitely.
--------------------------------
Here's another scenerio, to clarify the complicated aspects of this new system:
--------------------------------
- You commit a crime and fail. You get tossed into isolation.
- You immediately buy out.
- You wait 20 minutes, THEN commit another crime and fail.
- You would normally have to serve 30 minutes. But, because you bought out from the previous isolation and waited 20 minutes, you have 10 minutes of unserved time. So you now have 40 minutes to serve.
--------------------------------
Make sense? An inmate could, theoretically, get hours upon hours of iso time. This is a change we made to prevent money from being too easy to come by.
We've watched how players use crimes since this change, it appears as though it's been a good change overall. Players now tend to not spam crimes and buy out more than a couple times, because it becomes too expensive.

but there are also players that fail crimes on purpose over and over just to get thrown in iso for 8-10 hours while they sleep

Are you sure that thats really the way it works, or should work?
Im writing this as im trying it out (the iso-time stacking):
- I failed a crime. - 37 minutes Failed the "Steal Weapon" crime
- Bought out instantly
- failed a 2nd crime - 20 minutes, 59 secondsFailed the "Steal Weapon" crime
- Bought out instantly
- failed a 3rd crime - 31 minutes Failed the "Steal Weapon" crime
- Bought out instantly
- failed a 4th crme - 16 minutes Failed the "Steal Weapon" crime
Isnt the time supposed to "stack"? Its pretty much random no matter if i wait it out or buy out instantly, or am I missing something sir?
And theres also another way of (really) stacking iso time though, by using dozens of blunts over and over and over again while in isolation, I can easily go to sleep with alotta cash after investing about 200 blunts on iso 'protection' lol, asuming no one will use fireworks to kick my ass outta iso. though..

How do you use blunts to increase iso time?
And the example you mentioned is not how it's supposed to work. I'll look into it. In fact, that's far more forgiving than even the old system.
DemOlitionor are we not talking about the same kind of crimefailing? the ones i made was 0% stamina ones, but theres also the ones that can occur despite your stats/stamina (randomly?) - i take it as those are the ones you meant in the first place?
