Spy on them.. you might get some information that way. Other than that..man up attack them and get the stats that way

You can also tell a bit about the target by looking at their health lvls. this could save the use of a spy action if dramaticly different than your own. If you need any more questions feel free to message me. I am only lvl 2 but I do have friends in some higher places and been exploring with my gang members.

the only indication health gives to difficulty is its roughly dependant on level. which is handy.... oh.... wait youkcan actually see their level too!!!
