Hi there,

I tried a search but it came up with crap like this, and about a million "OMG I WANT JOIN CAN PLZZ??" threads so I thought I'd just ask my own question.

I'm getting a few, 1 or 2, invites to gangs daily since I hit running level, but to be honest I have no clue how to know if a gang is any good before I join. Some you can see a mile off that they will be hassle but other than that I am at a loss.

I have seen on the forums that there are some people who think it's better to fly solo until later in the game and that is what I have been doing until now (all 6 levels WOW!) but now that I was going to move into running it seems the best course of action might be to join a gang.

So I guess there are really 2 questions here, should I go ahead and join one or do you think it's better to solo until later in the game, and do you have any tips on checking a gang out before joining. The only gangs I recognise are the ones that have members who post regularly on the forums, and they seem to be mostly high level only, from what I can see.

Good questions... Well bro its down to personal preference....If i was you i wouldnt bother with gangs till u in AZ.... But if u really wanna join a gang then join one with a good rep... ( so basically no gang where the leader is still in NJ or PUT) Running is a good idea to get yo items up and power train from NJ through putnam to AZ but beware of gangs making empty promises... Otherwise than that its your decision.... The main thing you wanna focus on now bro is getting a good runner rep, do some big runs and get your money and stock up on eds and water... Feel free to PM me if u need anymore advice....

its really a question i would says up to you, no one else. if u feel your doing really good the best thing to do is carry on solo untill u really decide, if your having trouble and being picked on i would say its best to be helped by a really good crew like mpr,riot squads both really good gangs but as i said its honistly up to u bro

I think I'm doing ok by myself for now but when I started looking into how to start running most people said runners should be affiliated to a gang for both protection and to seem more reliable. At the moment that's the main reason behind me looking into this.

well u could look at it that way but if ur def and speed are good u wont need protection... ya know... As i said bro its a personal preference... Good Luck with whatever option you choose..

Ok thanks for all the help. I'll keep working away by myself for now as I feel i'm getting on ok. Just a bit tough to get started as a runner when you have no connections and I don't wan't keep annoying high levels by messaging them out of the blue. Besides, they already have runners usually.

sometimes u dont even need gangs. its all something every1 thinks that i need a protection.

if u go good and steady with a good cell and amenities in it, u can even run solo til level 20s, all is the matter of how u play,
