@ nulltag u kiwis still trying to claim our stuff,

History

The brand was established in 1972 by clothing manufacturer Edward Fletcher and Co. More than 750,000 pairs of Stubbies were sold across Australia in that first year. The company later changed its name to Stubbies because of the success of this line. The company was bought out by US-based Sara Lee Corporation in 1990 and moved offshore. Pacific Dunlop (now Pacific Brands) acquired Sara Lee Apparel Australasia in 2001 and brought the company back to Australia.

Stubbies also make schoolwear for boys and girls, and a line of casual footwear.

Cameron Leslie sorry for ‘finished my set’

Thu, 28 Jul 2011 4:47p.m.

Cameron Leslie, a New Zealander living in Norway, has apologised for his comments in a Campbell Live interview earlier this week.

Click here to watch the interview.

Mr Leslie was at a gym near the site where a bomb made by Anders Breivik exploded on the weekend, killing eight.

In his interview Mr Leslie discusses his experiences immediately after the bomb, referring to being on his eighth set lifting 165kgs.

He now admits this was a joke, and wants to say sorry.

“The joke was supposed to be subtle and focused to friends and family but due to little preparation and nerves of live TV I took this a bit too far without thinking. I do apologise and now wish to make good of this,” he says in a blog.

Mr Leslie says he is a dedicated Norwegian resident, having lived there for three-and-a-half years and representing the country in sport.

He says he hopes the international attention he has generated can be utilised to gain traction for a campaign aiming to remove Breivik’s name and face ‘removed from the tabloids’.

now they made a youtube clip..... and someone making teeshirts... lol... but he is gonna sue them ... i hope that ain't you nulltag
