i will say this though, unless the country has used, or is currently using slave labour, they arent really considered a major world power. a few have to suffer for the plenty, or in some cases, the plenty have to suffer for the few.

i could never treat any other human being the way some have treated them and in some cases still do.

and on that note let's bring this back to the discussion at hand.. this thread is a good read i must say.. too bad its so bloody long

Shit went wrong when the repubs trained and gave Osama Bin Laden the authority to attack the then USSR. And then left him on his own with no help from us!

yup and clinton tried gettin him in the 90's and the repubs said bill was just waggin the dog tryin to get our minds off monica lewinsky.. boy a lot of lives could have been saved if they'd let him do his job!!

Yessir And then H Bush went after Saddam and he put a hit on Bush. Clinton tried to go after Bin Laden, denied. Cuz he wasnt bully enough. W after 911 even though all points led to Bin Laden he lied his way into a war with Iraq to retaliate for daddy. Thats why there is so much animosity over there because all the lies actually are just about cheap oil.

If companies accepted to make the same profit for a couple years they could reduce the costs of their goods and more people would buy them... creating more jobs because production would increase.

2) The Medical and insurance companies aren't limited to how much they can charge a person. Say two people are in need of the same medical procedure... person A might be charged $1000, person B might be charged $8000 regardless of whether or not they have insurance. The government officials won't change this because medical companies provide millions of dollars towards campaign funding.

Under Obamacare the insurance companies cant charge $100 per aspirinor $50 per band aid. Thats why the GOP is against it even though its based on Romneycare.

I don't think any one of the presidential candidates will have a significant impact on fixing our problems. Congress is the main problem; last time I checked their approval rating was like 17%. Many of which have completely opposite views, grudges, alliances, and an all or nothing mentality which keeps them in deadlock. Since the democrats and republicans cant work together, I just assume to vote them both out in favor of a third party. Maybe then they will start to get the message ?
