because hes stating that fact but didnt say anything about how the females in his staff make on average 18% less than males...and while he was in chicago they made around 10k less than males...if ur gonna throw numbers out there and act like your going to change things why wouldnt you have already done it with what u can control easily

Is he being notified about the difference in pay? Not saying he isn't at fault, just wondering if there are other factors.

but Obama signed a bill, the lily leddbetter act that was supposed to fix it. i thought every time congress passed a bill, the problem was fixed. that's basically what he said last night, they wrote some words and signed some paper and voila, problem fixed

i havent done any research on the issue but have read it in numerous articles

he'd had this country a lot more fixed but congress wants him to fail so they go against everything he says !!

he had 2 years with the democrats having the majority, congress is there to prevent a dictatorship so them voting no was because they did not like the bills, they need to come to a middle ground on issues and bills not just have the president try and get what he wants passed just to read it later and figure out whats in it

the president is supposed to unite the nation, he has divided it

and im still waiting for the senate to have a budget proposal since hes taken office

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if he was fucking up. I like him because he's charismatic and doesn't act like an asswipe during presidential debates. As long as Romney isn't elected, I'll be content.

yup he had 2 years with them and wasted too much time tryin to reach across the aisle and work with the closed minded right who stated they wanted to make sure he failed !!! if it was up too them ! like they were against bailing out the car companies thank god they did or boy would that have been a lot of jobs lost!

Didn't they (various republican party members) say that they would fight whatever Obama proposed, just so he couldn't do anything, and to postpone until they could get him out of office? I never hear legitimate points from the Republicans (or Democrats, really), so it seems like more of a butthurt defense against someone else succeeding.
