i believe you may seen the monetary system change in your life time, with the US spending at our current rate, the artificial interest rates, inflation rates, i think in my lifetime other countries will push away from the US $ being the worlds reserve currency, whether that becomes a precious medal, oil, a one world currency is another topic to discuss, i always agreed with easyas to invest in precious medals to hedge against inflation, i have always been against the federal reserve and fractional banking systems and the fiat money, id rather have money tied to something that is actually worth something to keep the value, not like our fiat money whos value may be soon not worth the paper its printed on

but vic do you think a gold standard would actually help the poor? no matter what the monetary system the rich will have control... because me and most other poor people i know dont have a few ounces of gold laying around their house or heavily invested in precious medals not because they dont want to but because they dont have the extra cash to buy it with, but i have read multiple places about some millionaires and billionaires buying thousands and thousands of ounces or being invested in companies that are tied to precious medals

No it won't help, the power will increase until we find a way to ascend to a higher standard for all human living. I don't know how we get there but I know every dime that's printed is for our own demise and the more people blame other demographics of society it will continue to be a problem. The federal reserve (and a few others)was the begging of the end to humanity being free. It may soon crazy but they print money out of thin air and expect the working class to foot the bill so in reality they print debt on top of debt. No matter how hard we try there will always be somebody on the short end of the stick!
