If you want to correct someone at least be correct. First off, half of the US prisons are full of non-violent drug offenders. I wouldn't call them criminals, more like victims of a failed war on drugs which when you look at the facts equates to a war on people in poverty. We can't get people treated because of for-profit prisons.

Secondly, cops are gunning down unarmed, presumably innocent civilians. Last I check Americans suspected of a crime were given the right to a fair trial, not instant execution by cop.

In regards to your lecture in due process, if you noticed my parenthesis you would have seen I agree there have been some shootings where the cop should have been prosecuted. Most recently in Chicago is a good example as well as in SC. Whether unarmed or not, every high profile case that's been televised has one thing in common. They were all shot while in the process of committing a crime. Skin color has nothing to do with it, if it were a hillbilly running around the streets with a knife all hopped up on PCP he should understand that he may get shot by police if he doesn't listen. I have no sympathy for any dumbass piece of shit regardless of race.

I seen on the news the other day there were reporters from MSNBC questioning the actions of cops after they shot a man for not complying after he was shooting his gun in the air and pointing it at people. They were complaining that they fired too many rounds at the guy. One woman even suggested the cops should have tried to taze the guy who had been firing off a gun. Is that what you mean by innocent until proven guilty?
